This has been an answered prayer for my 10 year old son. He was being drawn to Percy Jackson (teacher had it in classroom). I told him I didn’t want him reading the series & I didn’t want to lose his heart & heart for the Lord. I’m passionate about making sure our entertainment includes the Lord if I can because why wouldn’t I want something “life giving?!” For my family. He LOVES & has immersed himself in JP. My 14yo son asked for two CDs for his birthday! We’ve been a Jonathan Park family for years now!

Acting is a little over the top

I just joined the Jonathan Park club to listen to these audio dramas. They seem interesting enough, but I was a little off put at the over-acting, especially the actors who play the dad and Jonathan Park. I'm hoping they get better as I listen. My kids are coming off from more mainstream audio dramas done by Audible, so there isn't as much over-acting there. Hopefully they don't notice it as much as I did and will enjoy listening to these.
