Having Trouble Downloading?

Sometimes downloading files from the internet can be a bit tricky because of all the different devices folks are using to consume their content. Since not everyone is on the same device, we've put together a few short tutorials on how to get your Jonathan Park download onto most devices.

Apple Device

If you are trying to download directly to an iPad or iPhone, please know that you must first download to your desktop or laptop, then unzip (or unarchive) the file folder before transferring into iTunes. Then, from iTunes, you can transfer into any IOS device (iPad, iPhone, etc.).

The process is quite simple. It should take no more than two minutes. Allow us to walk you through it.

  1. Go to your desktop computer or laptop
  2. Go to your email.
  3. Click the download link that we provided in your email from us. It will ask where you would like to download the file to. Download it to your desktop. (note: it might download by default to your "downloads" folder)
  4. When the file is finished downloading, right click on the file (or if you're on a Mac, just double click the file and ignore this step). You will see an option to "Unzip" or "extract" the folder. Select either option and choose where to "extract" it to. We recommend extracting to the desktop.
  5. Open iTunes and drag and drop your extracted files from your desktop (or downloads folder) into iTunes.
  6. Connect your iPhone to your computer and transfer the files via iTunes onto your iPhone.

Way to go! Now you can access your Jonathan Park adventure anytime via your music app!

Android Device

OK, great! You would like to download directly to your Android device (phone or tablet), we have a simple solution for you.

  1. Download the Jonathan Park audio file to your phone from your email link or from your jonathanpark.com account.
  2. Go to the Google Play app on your phone
  3. There are many apps available for unzipping zip folders.
  4. Look for and tap on your Jonathan Park download file
  5. A pop-up will ask where you want to extract the file to. 1. Select “extract to.” 2. Scroll up and tap on ‘parent folder’. 3. Select the “music” folder. 4. Tap the “extract here” button on the upper right hand corner.

That’s it! You’ve now extracted your zipped file and moved it to your music folder. Now you can play it anytime from your google play music app. It will be under playlist > recently added.

Kindle Device

Unfortunately, the Kindle does not have any software included that can decompress the .ZIP file.

Don't worry! This is something that has to be done on a computer and then the resulting file transferred to the Kindle via USB cable.

  1. Go to your desktop computer or laptop
  2. Go to your email.
  3.  Click the download link that we provided in your email from us. It will ask where you would like to download the file to. Download it to your desktop.
  4. When the file is finished downloading, right click on the file (or if you're on a Mac, just double click the file and ignore this step). You will see an option to "Unzip" or "extract" the folder. Select either option and choose where to "extract" it to. We recommend extracting to the desktop.
  5. Connect your Kindle via USB to your computer and drag and drop the files onto your Kindle.

Woohoo! You're all set!
