To learn about God’s blessing through storms by taking your family on a field-trip of your local Nation Weather Service office.

Planning

  • Your family will need to set aside about 4 hours for this adventure.
  • If you would like, put aside a few dollars to stop at your favorite hang-out after your adventure.
  • Call ahead to make reservations to visit your local National Weather Service office.

Activity

  1. Listen to Jonathan Park and the Eye of the Storm – Part I & II.
  2. Take your family to the National Weather Service office. To find a location near you, click here.
  3. At the NWS, they will take time to explain weather patterns and show your family how they track storms. Admission is free.
  4. On the way home, stop at your family’s favorite hang-out to discuss your adventure.
  5. To end your adventure together, spend time in a devotional as a family.
